Starting a transaction

Start a transaction

Open a domain deal in four steps and invite the other party.

Either the buyer or the seller can start a transaction. The other party is invited and must agree to the same terms before anything moves.

The four steps

  1. 1Domain & type — enter the domain name being sold. This sets the right transfer and inspection language.
  2. 2Details — give the deal a title, note the transfer method (registrar push or auth/EPP-code transfer), set the price, and choose an inspection window.
  3. 3Parties & fee — enter the other party's email and pick who pays the escrow fee (buyer, seller, or split). If a broker introduced the deal, add them and their commission here.
  4. 4Review — check everything and create the deal. You are marked as having agreed; the other party is invited to review and agree.

You agree to the terms automatically as the creator. The deal cannot be funded until the other party also agrees.
