Disputes

Opening and resolving a dispute

If something goes wrong, the money stays frozen until it is resolved.

If the buyer and seller disagree — the domain was not transferred, is not the one agreed, or the buyer will not release — either side can open a dispute from the deal page. The funds stay safely frozen in escrow while it is worked out; nobody can move them mid-dispute.

  1. 1Open the dispute and describe the problem.
  2. 2Add any evidence — registrar screenshots, messages, or the auth code history help our team see what happened.
  3. 3Our team reviews both sides and resolves it: release to the seller, refund the buyer, or a split, based on the facts and the agreed terms.

Because the money is already held in escrow, neither side can run off with it during a dispute — that is the whole point of using escrow.
